Summary
DevOps engineer who administers and evolves an Apache Kafka platform on Azure: cluster architecture (Brokers, KRaft), Kafka Connect and Schema Registry with Avro/JSON, security via mTLS/ACLs, performance tuning, storage management, and incident support. Requires Kafka admin experience, strong Azure knowledge, and fluent Portuguese and English.

What You'll do:
- Administer and evolve the Apache Kafka platform;
- Work on cluster architecture, including Brokers, KRaft, replication, and min.insync.replicas
- Configure and manage Kafka Connect and Schema Registry using Avro / JSON
- Implement security controls such as mTLS and ACLs
- Tune platform performance, including JVM, retention, and cleanup policies
- Manage storage and Persistent Volumes
- Support incident resolution and continuous platform improvement
Who You Are:
- Experience in Apache Kafka administration
- Strong knowledge of Azure
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills
Certifications (nice to have):
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka (CCAAK)
