API and UI Automation Tester – Agile Software Quality

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).As an Automation Tester, you will be working for our client, one of the fastest-growing leasing companies, supporting the development of modern digital solutions that enhance leasing processes and customer experience. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality by developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks while also supporting manual testing activities when needed. The project is delivered in an Agile environment, where you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and QA specialists to continuously improve testing processes and deliver reliable software solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop automated tests for API, end-to-end, and frontend applications
- Maintain and enhance new and existing automated test suites
- Create and maintain automated test documentation
- Verify new environments and software releases using automated tests
- Analyze test results and report defects while improving test scenarios
- Support manual testing activities during periods of increased workload
- Participate in manual testing when required (approx. 30%)
- Provide first-line QA support on a rotational basis
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and the Scrum team throughout the software development lifecycle
- Propose improvements to testing processes and software quality
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3–4 years of experience in software testing, including test automation
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated tests for API, end-to-end, and frontend applications
- Practical knowledge of Playwright (Typescript preferred), K6, and API testing
- Experience with Visual Studio and Git
- Familiarity with JIRA or Azure DevOps (TFS), Confluence, and Application Insights
- Experience working with SQL Developer, Microsoft SQL Server, and writing SQL queries
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
