API Azure DevOps Engineer with Fast API
Summary
Design and deploy RESTful APIs on Azure using FastAPI, Docker, and Terraform, ensuring resiliency and security while managing the full API lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Help design, build and continuously improve the client’s online platform.
- Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
- Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
- Be a productive member of the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying RESTful APIs on Azure using Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Functions, and Docker, with a deep understanding of Azure networking concepts such as private endpoints, DNS zones, and network security.
- Strong programming skills in Python using the FastAPI framework and relational databases, along with hands‑on experience deploying APIs through CI/CD pipelines and Terraform.
- Solid knowledge of API security best practices for production environments, familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, and end‑to‑end API lifecycle management (design, build, deploy, and deprecation).
- Bonus experience with Kong Gateway and Nexus Cloud is an added advantage.
