API Developer (ONSITE)

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented API Developer to join our backend engineering

team. Working closely with our Tech Lead and Systems Analysts, you will focus on building,

maintaining, and testing RESTful APIs and backend services. This is a fantastic opportunity for

someone with a couple of years of experience to sharpen their skills in enterprise .NET

development and modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

API Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C# code to develop and

enhance RESTful APIs.

Collaboration & Support: Work alongside senior developers and systems analysts to

understand requirements and implement technical solutions.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Help debug, maintain, and optimize existing

applications, console apps, and batch processes.

Technical Qualifications

Core Development & Frameworks

Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in backend development using C# (.Net

Framework) and .NET Core/.NET 8+.

Foundational experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Basic exposure to writing console applications or scheduled batch processes.

Comfortable working with data formats such as JSON and XML.

Database & Data Management

Practical experience working with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or

Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).

Ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries.

DevOps & Tools

Proficient with version control using Git (branching, merging, pull requests).

Basic exposure to Docker containers or familiarity with how CI/CD pipelines work.

Soft Skills & Attributes

Eager to learn, receive feedback, and grow technically under the mentorship of senior

engineers.

Proactive problem-solver with good communication skills.

Strong attention to detail when debugging and testing code
