Appian Lead Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Appian-based applications.
  

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project managers to define requirements and solutions.
  

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Appian developers.
  

• Design scalable and reusable components, integrations, and APIs.
  

• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
  

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  

• Work with QA teams to define test strategies and support UAT.
  

• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer sessions.
  

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Appian BPM.
  

• Strong expertise in Appian 21.x or above versions.
  

• Experience with Appian plug-ins, Smart Services, Appian Sites, SAIL, CDT, Records, and Process Models.
  

• Knowledge of Appian Administration, Deployment, and Server Configurations.
  

• Strong understanding of BPM concepts, workflow automation, and process optimization.
  

• Experience in integration with REST, SOAP, databases, and third-party systems.
  

• Hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL is a plus.
  

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  

• Strong leadership, communication, and client interaction skills.
