What you’ll be doing:
- Perform accurate appliance repairs and diagnostics using manufacturers’ manuals and bulletins.
- Communicate repair findings clearly to customers and report service concerns to management.
- Document repairs, damage, and parts usage accurately while ensuring proper authorization.
- Engage in training programs and support junior apprentices in their development.
- Follow all safety protocols, maintain equipment, and uphold cleanliness in work areas.
What you need to be successful:
- Valid driver’s license and enrollment in the Alberta Appliance Service Technician apprenticeship program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances while following safety protocols.
Availability:
This is a full-time position and will require you to be available:
Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm
