About the role
At State Trustees, technology plays an important role in helping us deliver better outcomes for Victorians. We're looking for an Application Analyst Developer to join our Technology, Transformation and Operations team and help us make sure our critical business applications are reliable, effective and continually improving.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across application development, support and enhancement. You'll take business needs and turn them into practical technical solutions, while also getting to the heart of complex system issues and finding sustainable ways to resolve them.
What You'll Do
You'll work across the application lifecycle, turning business needs into practical technical solutions and helping ensure our systems perform reliably.
- Develop and enhance applications, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite
- Investigate complex issues and identify sustainable solutions
- Use advanced SQL to troubleshoot, analyse data and improve performance
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support releases and contribute to continuous improvement
About You
You're an experienced application professional who enjoys solving complex problems and getting to the root cause of technical issues. You can work confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and take ownership of your work. You'll bring:
- Extensive Oracle E-Business Suite experience across Payables, P2P, Order Management and Financials
- Advanced SQL skills, including scripting, debugging and performance optimisation
- Application support and development experience across a range of technologies
- Experience with incident, problem and change management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- A tertiary qualification in IT, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
