Location: Alberta (100% Remote – Must work from within Alberta)
Client is seeking a Senior-level CDP Public Cloud Administrator with strong Azure infrastructure and Kubernetes experience.
This is a hands-on production support and platform administration role, not a development position.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable managing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and supporting a Big Data platform environment end-to-end.
Mandatory Experience (Minimum 4+ Years in Each Area)
- Cloudera Data Platform (CDP Public Cloud)
- CDP upgrades, patching, backups, and maintenance
- Big Data technologies (HDFS, Hive, Impala, Yarn, Ranger, Hue)
- Azure Infrastructure (VMs, Storage, Private Endpoints, Roles, AKS)
- Kubernetes cluster administration
- Linux (RHEL preferred)
- Data Warehousing and Reporting tools
- Business Intelligence platforms
- ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
