Application Deployment Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Deploy approved .NET application builds on Windows Server and IIS.
• Configure websites, application pools, bindings, SSL certificates and application settings.
• Set up application connectivity with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Manage Windows user accounts, groups, folder permissions, IIS identities and database access rights.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, API connectivity, application errors and server logs.
• Coordinate with customer IT teams for firewall, DNS, ports and server access.
• Perform deployment verification, smoke testing, release documentation and rollback procedures.
• Provide production support and participate in customer go-live activities.
• Travel to customer locations when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience deploying ASP.NET / .NET Core applications and APIs.
• PowerShell or Windows scripting basics.
• Experience in enterprise software implementation or application support.
• Familiarity with deployment checklists, backups and rollback procedures.
