Application Developer
Salary: $4,200 – $6,200 per month
About the role
The Application Developer participates in development projects and upgrades, interacting directly with plant on IT issues. The role provides functional support for all Oracle applications inclusive of Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Planning & Control, and provides routine troubleshooting and support as well as analysis and solution development for functional and technical issues.
Key responsibilities
Participate in development projects and upgrades
Interact directly with plant on IT issues
Provide functional support for all Oracle applications inclusive of Manufacturing, Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production Planning & Control
Provide routine troubleshooting and support as well as analysis and solution development for functional and technical issues
Develop recommendations for business streamlining and efficiencies
Participate in implementation including GAP analysis, re-engineering opportunities, investigation and application of new release functionality, system set up, testing and training
Provide "On Call Support" for the 24/7/365 day manufacturing operation
Ensure compliance with Parent Company Sarbanes Oxley practices
Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superior
About you
Degree in Computer Science or related field
3 years and above relevant experience
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Oracle functionality
Experience with application set up and configuration processes
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft, proficiency in EXCEL
Knowledge and experience with Oracle Developer tools (e.g. TOAD, Oracle Report Builder, Oracle Form Builder, Java)
Understanding of relational database concepts and experience with SQL and Visual Basic
General knowledge of computer and printer hardware
Knowledge of other ERP software is an added advantage
Good analytical skills experienced with data analysis, extraction, conversion tools and techniques
