Overview

The Applications Developer & Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom software applications and digital solutions tailored to the needs of Al Qadsiah Club. This role combines strong development skills with creative design capabilities to deliver engaging, efficient, and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications (web & mobile) to support club operations and fan engagement.
  • Develop and publish mobile applications (iOS & Android) using modern frameworks.
  • Experience in API design, development, and integration with third-party or government systems.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile development frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications to support club operations and fan engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop user-friendly interfaces and seamless user experiences by applying best design practices.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance, usability, and security.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed for expanded functionality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues promptly.
  • Ensure applications comply with security standards and data privacy regulations.
  • Work closely with the IT and digital teams to support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Document development processes, code, and user manuals.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in application development and design.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in application development and UI/UX design.
  • Experience with web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, .NET, Django, etc.).
  • Strong skills in database management (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch) for UI/UX design.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in sports or entertainment industry applications is a plus.
