Application Developer (IBM)

ESB Developer

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, implement and support of enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

· Design and develop interfaces using IBM MQ, HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP, REST, JDBC, FTP/SFTP/FTPS.

· Analyze and manage XML, XSD, DFDL, JSON, and EBCDIC data formats.

· Troubleshoot integration, connectivity, and message-processing issues.

· Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

· Design scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture.

· Drive continuous improvement and middleware optimization.

· Review and maintain existing integration codebases.

· Develop and execute unit, SIT, and integration tests.

· Manage and maintain IBM MQ queues and channels.

Requirement:

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE).

· Strong experience with IBM MQ (WMQ) v8.0 or above.

· Understanding of enterprise integration architecture and middleware platforms.

· Experience with SOAP, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and JDBC.

· Experience in DFDL, XML/XSD, JSON, ESQL, and Web Services.

· Knowledge of cluster environments, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and LDAP.

· Understanding of Incident, Change, Problem, and SLA Management.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in Banking and Financial Services.

· Knowledge of DB2, RDBMS, and AIX/Linux.

· Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.

· Leadership experience in enterprise integration initiatives.
