Your role:

As a Databricks Applications Developer at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, data-driven applications within the Databricks ecosystem. You will work with modern technologies, including Node.js, and collaborate closely with data engineers, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to turn curated data into interactive, high-impact applications.

In this role, you will focus on developing and optimizing application logic that leverages Databricks capabilities such as SQL, Delta Lake, and workflows. You will ensure that applications are performant, secure, and easy to use, enabling seamless access to data for a wide range of users.

Your work will directly influence how teams interact with data, enabling real-time insights and supporting data-driven decision-making. You will also contribute to evolving our application and data platform architecture to support a growing number of use cases and users, while promoting scalable and maintainable solutions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop user interfaces and interactive front-end components for data and AI applications.

  • Work with Delta Lake and lakehouse to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performance data storage

  • Collaborate with data engineers and analytics engineers to consume curated datasets

  • Optimize application performance and data access patterns

  • Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling within apps

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment of Databricks Apps

  • Contribute to internal frameworks that standardize environments and code structure

  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of applications as usage grows

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 4–6+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development

  • Hands-on experience with Databricks platform

  • Strong experience with Node.js and Python

  • Solid understanding of Delta Lake and data lakehouse architecture

  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
