Midwest Fastener Corp. is seeking a Software Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and integrate internal and customer-facing applications that support our business operations.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, building practical solutions, and taking projects from concept through deployment.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop business applications using modern architectural patterns
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Integrate applications with Microsoft Business Central and other enterprise/third-party systems
- Design and optimize relational databases and queries
- Contribute to front-end development using modern UI frameworks
- Troubleshoot and improve existing applications
- Participate in Agile/Kanban development workflows
- Work collaboratively with our development team and internal business groups
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, C++, or similar
- Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or MySQL
- Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Flutter, or Angular
- Understanding of modern application architecture and the software development life cycle
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to independently take features from design through deployment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

- .NET/C# development experience
- Microsoft Business Central or other ERP integration experience
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- GitHub or GitLab experience
- Azure or AWS experience
- Knowledge of SOLID principles
- Experience using AI tools in software development or incorporating AI into business applications
