Application Developer - Natural
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Application Developer - Natural with strong expertise in Natural Mainframe Programming Language and Adabas. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining software applications based on business and application requirements. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on Natural Mainframe programming experience and experience working with Adabas tables and Consist or Nat editors.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications using Natural Mainframe Programming Language.
Work with Adabas tables as part of application development and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze business requirements.
Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications and application solutions.
Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests.
Troubleshoot and debug application and software issues.
Provide timely resolution of technical issues to meet business and customer requirements.
Maintain application quality, functionality, and reliability.
Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Collaborate with technical and business teams during application development, testing, and implementation.
About you
At least 5 years of Natural Mainframe programming experience.
Expert proficiency in Natural Mainframe Programming Language.
Hands-on experience working with Adabas tables.
Experience using Consist or Nat editors.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
Experience with application design, development, testing, and maintenance.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
