Application Development Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js,React.js, and Next.js to design and lead the development of scalable, high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern application architecture, frontend and backend development, API design, cloud-native solutions, security, performance optimization, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive scalable, secure, and high-performance application architecture.
• Design end-to-end solutions using Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.
• Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance to development teams.
• Design RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Establish frontend architecture and best practices using React.js and Next.js.
• Drive server-side rendering, static generation, routing, caching, and performance optimization using Next.js.
• Design scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate frameworks, libraries, tools, and technology stacks.
• Ensure applications follow coding standards, design patterns, security standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, DevOps, QA, and engineering teams.
• Conduct technical reviews, architecture reviews, and code/design reviews.
• Identify technical risks and provide appropriate solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Mentor developers and help build strong engineering practices.
• Contribute to cloud, CI/CD, observability, scalability, and deployment strategies.

Required Skills

Backend

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures.
• Good understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

Frontend

• Strong expertise in React.js.
• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Experience with SSR, SSG, ISR, routing, middleware, caching, and frontend performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive design, and modern frontend architecture.
• Experience with state-management solutions and component-based architecture.

Architecture& Cloud

• Strong knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, clean architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available applications.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, tracing, and application performance management.
• Understanding of security best practices, OWASP, data protection, and secure API design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, RDS, and related services.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with monorepos and modern frontend tooling.
• Knowledge of automated testing and quality engineering practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
