Application DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Technology consultancy SYVANTECH seeks an Application DevOps Engineer in Portugal for a strategic client project. The role focuses on building CI/CD pipelines and release management with Azure DevOps and Git, running Kubernetes (AKS) deployments with Helm and Docker, and automating with YAML and PowerShell across DEV–PROD environments.

We are currently looking for an Application DevOps Engineer (Azure / Kubernetes) to join a strategic project for a leading client.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Application DevOps roles;
- Strong experience with Git and Azure DevOps;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management;
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, and Docker;
- Strong knowledge of YAML for Azure DevOps pipelines and Kubernetes configurations;
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation;
- Experience managing deployments across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD);
- Strong troubleshooting skills in CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments;
- Experience managing application configurations, secrets, and security best practices;
- Experience working in Agile environments;
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Nice to have:
- Azure certifications related to DevOps, Kubernetes, or Cloud technologies;
- Previous experience in Energy or Utilities projects.
