Application engineer (aveva system platform)
Key Responsibilities
Develop User Requirement Specifications (URS) Develop software and hardware design specifications Design, develop, implement, test, and document SCADA and HMI logic scripts Develop SCADA system validation and testing protocols Specify and procure related software and licenses Assist in estimating project man-hours and execution requirements Install, test, commission, and start‑up SCADA systems at client sites Provide training to operators and engineers on SCADA systems Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution Maintain accurate technical documentation in line with project requirements and company standards Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Computer Science 2–4 years of relevant experience in SCADA system development and implementation Hands‑on experience with AVEVA System Platform and Factory Talk View SE (FT View SE) Experience with GISIZE Geospatial Module Understanding of industrial automation systems and communication protocols will be an added advantage Candidates holding a valid Qatari work visa/NOC will be preferred
