Job Description:
- Design, develop and implement PLC programs for automation and control systems
- Provide support for commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting for various control and automation projects
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronics for technical support of the products we sell
- Perform multidiscipline and vendor co-ordination for new equipment installation
- Review vendor & engineering documents as per project requirement
- Provide support for PLC and HMI programming
Requirements:
- Degree/ diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Automation etc
- Preferably >3 years of experience in relevant field, with 3+ years of Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic (LD), Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagrams (FBD)
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI configuration, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
- Should be familiar with input and output type with PLC
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronics components like resistor, capacitor, inductor, relay, Mosfet, Transistor etc
- Basic level of soldering work
- Familiarity with control systems and integration with various devices like sensors, drives and actuator
- Basic experience with electrical and control system troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Basic knowledge in Single Line Diagram (SLD), Schematic wiring diagram and Electrical design
- Basic experience in 2D Autocad for Electric panel design
- Strong skills and experience with PLC Programming in TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, PC Worx, Ctrlx Automation, Codesys
- Good knowledge of industrial fieldbus protocols: EthernetIP, EtherCAT, ModbusTCP, OPC_UA, MQTT
- IEC61131-3 programming
- Experience with PLC brands such as Idec, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Idec will be an advantage
- Working experience with IOT/IIOT and networking is advantageous
- Basic understanding about IO/OT systems is advantageous
- Well-developed problem-solving competence, as well as customer and team orientation
- Willingness to pursue continuous further training
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to align tasks with other engineering team
- Willingness to travel
- Good Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong and motivated team player
