Application Engineer (Display eBeam)

Tainan Display Manufacturing Center and Lab (TDL) lays a strategic role in employing deep display expertise to enable the next generation of displays. It is the world's first combined display equipment manufacturing facility and R&D laboratory, occupying about 5.1 hectares with two cleanrooms and a laboratory, located in the Tainan Science Park.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of customer technologies and critical gaps, and work through the full cycle until implementation of the solution
- Technically lead difficult, complex application activities and teams
- Lead execution teams for beta-sites, evaluation, and demos at customer sites, with high involvement in the SOW and commitment schedule
- Interface with the customer regarding technical requirements analysis and schedule
- Define/approve product application support plans for installation
- Create and lead new methodologies to optimize system performance for specific applications
- Analyze, develop, and transfer new application capabilities from product division to customer application support team
- Lead customer technical review meetings

Requirements

- 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor/display industry
- Customer-facing and project management experience
- Knowledge of eBeam testing and inspection technology
- Flexible on business travel (20%-30%)
- Good English communication and presentation skills
