We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support customers using Bosch radar SoC solutions. The role will responsible for customer reference designs and enablement with closely co-work with German organization, includes: low‑level drivers and firmware, reference radar‑processing software, board design and bring‑up, and help customers running the radar system as 2nd-line support. The ideal candidate combines radar signal‑processing expertise with hands‑on embedded software and hardware experience, and is comfortable working directly with customers and cross‑functional / national engineering, product, project, architecture and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement and deliver customer reference designs for Radar SoC platforms, including:
    • Basic low‑level drivers and firmware for sensor control and data I/O
    • Reference radar processing software (range/Doppler/angle processing, CFAR, tracking)
    • Support for board design, schematics and bring‑up activities
    • Provide 2nd‑line technical support to customers using Bosch Radar SoCs: reproduce issues, develop fixes/workarounds, and coordinate with product/firmware teams
    • Debug hardware and software integration problems
  • Develop test benches, validation procedures and example applications to demonstrate Radar SoC capabilities
