Job Description – Application Engineer – Gas Treating


Reports to: Proposals Manager


Job Description


To accurately develop technical proposal and commercial estimate for process equipment and other items of process plants particularly for gas treating Business.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Creating comprehensive engineering proposals tailored to client needs
  • Understand project requirements, interpret specifications, and contribute technical expertise to the proposal.
  • Reviewing project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams
  • Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns
  • Ensuring proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations
  • Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements



Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering
  • Min 7-10 of professional experience in design of equipment for the Chemical, Process Industries
  • Hands on experience of chemical / process design and simulation programs like Hysys, ProMax Etc.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
