We are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient, and results-driven professional to lead the development and execution of sales and product strategies across our South-East Asia operations.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Sales Managers in regional branches to identify business opportunities and formulate sales execution strategies for the company's semiconductor-related adhesive tape products used in back-end manufacturing processes. Key target industries include smartphones, automotive electronics, computers, and memory device manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales Managers across South-East Asia to identify market opportunities, establish business strategies, and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends in semiconductor back-end manufacturing processes to identify emerging customer needs and product opportunities.
- Evaluate competitor products and industry benchmarks, and develop improvement plans to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
- Lead the research, development, and commercialization of semiconductor adhesive tape solutions tailored to customer applications.
- Generate innovative product concepts and prototypes to address future semiconductor manufacturing trends and technological advancements.
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and the Japan R&D Headquarters, translating customer requirements into product development initiatives.
- Coordinate the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products based on customer feedback, market demands, and technical requirements.
- Provide technical consultation, application support, and product expertise to customers throughout the evaluation and implementation stages.
- Lead customer product evaluation projects and manage development programs to ensure successful qualification and commercialization.
- Manage and mentor a team of Application Engineers while overseeing the daily operation of the Application Laboratory in the South-East Asia office.
- Ensure laboratory activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly back-end assembly and packaging technologies.
- Experience in product development, application engineering, technical sales, or business development within the semiconductor materials industry.
- Ability to bridge technical and commercial functions, working effectively with customers, sales teams, and R&D organizations.
- Proven project leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel within South-East Asia and collaborate with global stakeholders.
