Job Objective

Act as the primary technical interface between the company and its customers, ensuring that MD ELEKTRONIK products and solutions meet the technical, functional, and quality requirements of the automotive industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and represent their requirements to internal teams.
• Adapt and integrate products into customer vehicle platforms.
• Propose technical solutions and provide specialized technical consulting.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of customer technical requirements.
• Ensure technical feasibility and compliance with customer specifications.
• Prepare and deliver Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R) according to customer requirements.
• Manage engineering change requests while ensuring technical integrity and product quality.
• Provide technical support to customers during evaluations and design-in decisions.
• Support the sales team in customer acquisition activities and ongoing account management.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop robust and manufacturable solutions.
• Promote the use of MD ELEKTRONIK products and support the customer component approval process.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with automotive specialty cables, wire harnesses, connectors, or automotive electronics.
• Experience in design verification and product validation of electrical wire harness components.
• Knowledge of wire harnesses, printed circuit boards (PCB), signal integrity, and electrical interface standards.
• Basic user-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with 3D drawing software, particularly CATIA.
• Experience with 2D drawing software, particularly AutoCAD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an OEM or Tier 1 supplier in the design and release of high-speed communication cables or wire harnesses.
• Basic knowledge of German.
