Application Engineer - ReactJS Frontend

The opportunity

As a Software Engineer – ReactJS Frontend Development, you will be instrumental in building robust, secure, and scalable frontend applications that power our payment infrastructure and customer-facing portals. You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences, while ensuring secure coding practices and reliable performance on Linux-based environments.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend features using React and modern JavaScript.
• Implement secure coding practices including input validation, authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful services and web APIs.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit/integration) and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and participate in security-focused code reviews.
• Troubleshoot environment issues and work with Linux-based deployment pipelines and tooling.
• Document design decisions, APIs, and frontend components for maintainability.

Who are we looking for

• 1–4 years of professional experience in frontend development with React and JavaScript.
• Strong proficiency in React (hooks, component patterns, state management) and modern JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Linux operating environments and command-line tooling.
• Understanding of secure coding practices for web applications (input validation, authentication, authorization, secure data handling).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
