Application Engineer - SI/PI
Summary
Performs Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis for IC packages, PCBs, and high-speed interfaces using Ansys simulation tools, including S-parameter generation, TDR analysis, and validation of DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and SERDES interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Perform SI/PI analysis for IC packages, PCBs, and high-speed interfaces using Ansys.
✅ Execute S-parameter generation, RLGC extraction, TDR analysis, PDN impedance, DCIR/IR-drop, and current density analysis.
✅ Validate DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and SERDES interfaces with eye diagram and channel analysis.
✅ Optimize decoupling capacitor placement, PDN, and package-board-system co-simulation.
✅ Correlate simulation results with measurements and recommend design improvements.
Required Skills:
✔️ 5+ years of experience in Signal Integrity (SI) & Power Integrity (PI).
✔️ Hands-on expertise with Ansys SI/PI simulation tools.
✔️ Strong knowledge of DDR, LPDDR, HBM, SERDES, S-parameters, RLGC, TDR, EMI/Crosstalk, and PDN analysis.
✔️ Experience with IC package, PCB, and system-level high-speed design, simulation and validation (Optional).
