The role:
In this role you will own the technical customer interface from opportunity and proposal through project execution and delivery. You will shape an agreed solution and scope by translating customer and contractual needs into clear commitments while balancing performance, qualification, cost, schedule, risk and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Lead technical customer dialogue, clarify needs and align the proposed solution, scope and acceptance criteria.

Secure internal review and approval before technical or commercial commitments are made to customers.
Coordinate engineering, Product Assurance, project and sales teams around customer commitments and priorities.
Negotiate technical changes, CCNs, deviations and waivers, making cost, schedule, risk and qualification impacts visible.
Represent APR at customer sites during sales meetings, reviews, integration and tests and maintain trusted long-term relationships.
Who you are:
You work well with others, communicating clearly and credibly with both technical specialists and commercial decision-makers. You are responsive and diplomatic while protecting scope and avoiding unsupported customer commitments. Business-minded and structured, you are comfortable resolving conflicting priorities and at ease in a fast-moving environment where decisions are made quickly.
Required qualifications:
Relevant engineering BSc/MSc or equivalent technical experience.
At least five years in customer-facing solutions, project or application engineering for complex hardware.

Ability to assess and communicate trade-offs across performance, qualification, cost, schedule and risk.
Working knowledge of relevant ECSS standards.
Fluent professional English and willingness to travel regularly.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with space projects involving ESA, a space prime contractor, an equipment supplier or an institutional customer.
Experience in bid management, technical sales, key account management, project management or financial monitoring.
Experience with thermal control, fluid systems, spacecraft integration or environmental testing.
Working at APR Technologies:
APR operates at the intersection of physics, engineering and one of the most pressing problems in technology: thermal management. The ambition is to become the global industry standard for thermal control, and we are well on our way.
Here your work is visible, your perspective counts and what you do has a real impact on where the company goes. Working here means solving problems that have real consequences for how technology develops and how much energy it consumes. It means being part of a team that takes both the technology and the business seriously.
