Job Summary
Design and produce electrical drawings and documentation, engage in technical discussions with customers, and support production by providing technical solutions and advice to secure project success.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce electrical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and documentation for factory production and customer approval
- Generate control schematic design drawings aligned with customer requirements, technical specifications, and standards
- Select protection, control, and measuring devices for applications such as feeders and motor control based on project needs
- Engage in technical discussions and clarify technical topics with customers to ensure accurate understanding and requirements
- Provide timely feedback to project, sales, and marketing teams regarding customer comments and changes in technical requirements
- Support production teams by delivering design solutions and technical assistance to ensure smooth project execution
- Assist and advise on technical matters to provide backup support and secure project delivery
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Briscad and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of Eplan electrical design software
- Ability to design and program various controllers and PLCs (Omron, Siemens, Idec, etc.) and HMIs when necessary
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
- Knowledge of low voltage switchgear systems and experience with LTA projects is an advantage
