Application Engineer應用工程師

Job summary: Main objectives of the position

• Reports directly to Regional Head of Sales
• Reports in dotted line to Director Global Application & Training
• Application support in technical discussions, and demo preparation with Sales team
• Expert Training to Customers for our main product in Semi
• 1st line technical interface between Comet and customers
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor

Tasks and duties (incl. percentages of tasks if applicable)

• Conduct on-site advanced application training for (key) customers and provide customized solutions.
• Proficient in VG Max and Dragonfly advanced analysis and applied related functions to support project competitiveness.
• Assist in preparing local marketing materials and conducting demonstrations at exhibitions and customer events.
• Accept being exposed to and able to support technical presentations at customer and marketing events
• Support, developing and improving application strategies to identify competitive advantages
• Documentation of application results and preparation of application reports
• Specialist for Dragonfly: Deep Learning Model Training experts
• Gathering of system & software requirements in field-use for Product Management, and Bug reporting for R&D

Role related knowledge, education & experience

• Bachelor or above with science & engineering background.
• Fluent language skills in Mandarin and English
• 3-5 years working experience in Semi, Automotive, Labs R&D, or Metrology industry
• Self-manage and motivate
• High degree of initiative and good communication skills.
• Capable and willing to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel, even at short notice for emergency services.
