Application & Installation Support Specialist - Point of Sale Software
About the role
We are looking for individuals who want to build a career with a market leading technology company. We are searching for motivated individuals who can handle responsibilities both in a team environment and autonomously.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Manage and execute POS hardware/software installations, including configuration and training
Provide technical support, system troubleshooting, and liaise with third-party vendors as needed
About you
Ability to communicate effectively, particularly verbally, with a wide range of clientele
Be pro-active, a quick learner and customer orientated
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team whilst at the same time possess the ability to make consistent, rational and independent decisions
The ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision
Advanced PC & Server configuration knowledge. Microsoft Network configuration
Previous experience utilising computerised Back Office & POS systems within a retail environment, in particular the Grocery or Hardware industry
A technical background in POS applications
Understanding of Independent Supermarket industry
EFT installation & fault diagnosis
LAN network configuration & fault diagnosis
Full working rights with no limitations
Current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle
