About the role

RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS (Nasdaq: CLPS), is seeking an Application Maintenance Engineer to join our technology team on a contract basis. This position is based in the Singapore River Central Region and offers an exciting opportunity to maintain, support, and optimise our critical applications. As an Application Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our software systems, working with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional technical support and continuous improvements to our application portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and support production applications to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner

  • Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patches, updates, and configuration management

  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and maintenance activities for future reference and knowledge sharing

  • Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and improvements to existing applications

  • Provide technical support to end users and internal stakeholders regarding application functionality

  • Conduct performance tuning and optimisation to enhance application efficiency

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, system changes, and upgrade activities

  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency support when required


What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in application maintenance, system administration, or a related technical role

  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and maintenance best practices

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or similar

  • Experience with database management systems and SQL

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or similar tools

  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and ability to document technical information clearly

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with monitoring tools and application performance management solutions (preferred)

  • Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Azure Administrator, or similar qualifications (preferred)
