Application Officer (Project and Development)
Salary range: $3,800 – $4,200
Contract duration: 1 year contract
Work Location: Near to Clarke Quay MRT / Novena MRT
Working Hours: 8.30AM to 6,00PM (Mon to Fri)
The incumbent will be responsible for managing end-to-end project workflows while applying foundational coding skills to support system development and improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is committed to continuous learning in both technical and business management domains
Job Description:
Assist to manage and oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, timeline, and budget, while coordinating across relevant stakeholders .
Apply basic to intermediate coding knowledge to support software development, maintenance, or enhancement tasks, contributing to technical solutions that address business and operational needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable technical or project specifications, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical outcomes.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track and within agreed parameters.
Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to software engineering and business management, proactively upskilling to meet evolving organisational demands.
Support documentation efforts related to project plans, technical specifications, and process workflows to maintain transparency and institutional knowledge across the team.
Contribute to the improvement of internal processes by identifying inefficiencies and proposing practical, technology-driven or process-based solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Media Engineering or Communications background or a related field is preferred
Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate coding ability is required; familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) is advantageous.
