Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Packaging & Endpoint Specialist to support an enterprise EUC transformation project. The role involves packaging, testing, deploying and migrating enterprise applications from the existing Citrix VDI environment to Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Windows application packaging, Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, PowerShell scripting and Windows endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

• Package and repackage Windows applications using MSI, MSIX, App-V and script-based deployment methods.
• Create, configure and deploy Win32 applications through Microsoft Intune.
• Manage application installation, uninstallation, detection, remediation and deployment scripts using PowerShell.
• Assess application compatibility, dependencies and migration readiness for Windows 365.
• Support application migration from existing Citrix VDI to Windows 365 Cloud PC.
• Troubleshoot application issues related to Windows Registry, DLLs, services, permissions and user profiles.
• Perform application testing, validation and deployment across Windows 10/11 environments.
• Work with infrastructure, security and application teams to ensure smooth application deployment.
• Maintain application packaging documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.

Mandatory Skills

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Application Packaging.
• Strong experience with MSI, MSIX, App-V and script-based packaging.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Registry, Services, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with application deployment, troubleshooting and compatibility testing.
• Knowledge of application packaging tools such as AdminStudio, Advanced Installer, InstallShield or MSIX Packaging Tool.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops or VDI migration projects.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID and Conditional Access.
• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments.
• Knowledge of security, audit and regulatory compliance requirements.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate certification preferred.
• Microsoft Azure or ITIL certification is an added advantage.
