Application Support/ Analyst Programmer (Java & Android, over $40K)

Salary: $40,000 – $45,000 per month

Job Duties:

• Provide application development, maintenance, and production support for existing systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents and technical issues.

• Liaise with users and stakeholders to collect, analyze, and define business and functional requirements.

• Prepare System Analysis and Design (SA&D) documentation and technical specifications.

• Design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new system functionalities.

• Conduct system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployment activities.

• Review and evaluate contractors' deliverables, technical proposals, and development work for new system projects.

• Ensure system quality, performance, and compliance with project standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least have 4 years’ experience in application development and system support in a similar capacity.

• Hands-on experience in: Java programming, Android application development, UNIX/Linux shell scripting, Reporting tools, Data warehouse solutions, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and technologies

• Experience in system analysis, design, testing, and deployment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English.

• Self-motivated and capable of quickly learning new technologies and tools.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Candidates with experience in government projects, large-scale system integration, mobile applications, or data warehouse environments will be an advantage.
