Application Support Analyst (SQL & Python)

Salary: $774.40 per day plus super

We are seeking an L1 Application Support Analyst to join a dynamic support team responsible for maintaining business-critical applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SQL skills, Python scripting experience, and a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 support for production applications and systems.

• Monitor application health, batch jobs, and system alerts.

• Investigate and resolve incidents using SQL queries, logs, and data analysis.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.

• Develop and maintain simple Python scripts for automation and reporting.

• Manage incident tickets, issue triage, and escalation to L2/L3 teams.

• Support deployments, testing, and post-release validation activities.

• Prepare operational reports and support metrics.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong SQL skills (essential).

• Basic to intermediate Python scripting experience.

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Exposure to Angular or React.js is highly regarded.
