Application Support Analyst
Salary: RM 6,000 – RM 8,000 per month
This role demands a hybrid engineer who ensures the stability of high‑value financial settlements while advancing the Bank’s technology transformation. The incumbent will provide technical leadership, L2/L3 support, and DevOps engineering for Findur and Money Market Operations applications that underpin the Bank’s RTGS, Monetary Policy, Forex/Treasury settlement, and Investment Risk & Performance functions.Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant professional qualification.
Experience: At least 5-8 years of working experience in software development and application support or DevOps preferably within the Banking or Financial service sector.
• Mission‑Critical Reliability - Delivers high availability and secure operations across Unix/Linux/Windows, with robust failover/clustering, disciplined access control, and rapid recovery from incidents. • Hybrid Engineering Delivery - Owns the full technology stack end‑to‑end (business understanding, L2/L3 support, testing, design & development, integration, and project execution) to deliver secure, supportable solutions at pace. • Governed DevOps & Analytical Rigor - Embeds CI/CD, automation, and observability aligned to IT governance; applies structured, data‑driven analysis to eliminate root causes and uplift operational maturity. • Stabilize‑and‑Modernize Leadership - Ensures the resilience of key financial systems today while executing targeted modernization for tomorrow; demonstrates technical depth, operational discipline, architectural judgment, decisive problem‑solving, and strong partnership with business stakeholders.
