Application Support Consultant - ( MS Power BI)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Developer with 8+ years of experience in business reports and dashboards development for the top management and above-mentioned position or resource shall fulfill the requirement and below mentioned skillset and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• To understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights.
• To create dashboards and visual interactive reports using Power BI
• To create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.
• To define and design new systems by analyzing current ETL processes.
• To make technical changes to existing BI systems in order to enhance their functioning.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred but may consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience designing and developing dashboards and reports; minimum four (4) years using Power BI.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between stakeholders.

Proven analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.

Skills:

• Experience in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and M Query; certification in Power BI is preferred.
• Solid understanding of security models in Power BI and the ability to implement row level restrictions.
• Expertise in data analysis and hold strong technical skills in Database Management systems and BI technologies.
• Experience/awareness on data bricks tool is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with SQL scripting is a must. Experience with R and Python is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in utilization of raw data for business solutions by making informed and logical decisions.
• Solid understanding and proven experience in requirements definition and management. techniques including business process, use case, workflow, and data modelling.
