Application Support / Developer - SharePoint & Power Apps

Salary: Contract Day Rates

Applications Support & Developer
SharePoint & Power Apps

7-month Contract plus possible extension

Parental Leave Cover - Starting mid to late August

A leading enterprise brand is looking for an experienced Applications Support & Developer to join its Group Technology function on a 7-month contract covering a period of parental leave.

This is a hands-on role responsible for project delivery, application support, and development across the business.

You'll be the go-to person for SharePoint and Power Apps - keeping the platforms healthy, supporting users day to day, and building solutions that make the business run better.

The split is roughly 70% support / 30% development, though it flexes with demand.

What you'll do
  • Provide incident, service request and problem management support to users across SharePoint, Power Platform and OutSystems
  • Administer and maintain the SharePoint and Power Platform environments - sites, permissions, security, performance, storage and search
  • Build and enhance solutions using SharePoint (SPFx), Power Apps and Power Automate - workflows, forms, custom sites, branding and integrations
  • Work with REST APIs, Graph API and CSOM/JSOM to automate and integrate with external systems
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing Power Apps and SharePoint applications
  • Act as the admin/go-between for the OutSystems platform - triaging tickets to the service partner, managing access, deployments and environments (the service partner handles the heavy development)
  • Complete and maintain documentation across requirements, design, testing and support
  • Partner with architects, infrastructure and security to ensure solutions follow sound architecture principles

What you'll bring
  • 5+ years in SharePoint and Power Apps administration, with at least 3 years' general IT experience
  • 2+ years in development on the SharePoint and Power Apps platform
  • Strong incident and problem management skills, with a track record of resolving issues within SLAs
  • Confident communicator who can translate complex technical detail for non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability — able to quickly find a clear way forward
  • A collaborative, consultative approach and the credibility to build trust with business stakeholders
  • Exposure to OutSystems administration is a plus (development experience not required)

What's on offer
  • A visible role in a well-resourced Group Technology team at a household-name brand
  • Genuine variety across support and development on modern Microsoft platforms
  • Great day rate contracts with a Hybrid set up

To be considered, you'll need full working rights in Australia. Apply now with your current CV.
