Application Support Engineer

You will provide L2/L3 production support for cryptocurrency trading systems, APIs, and network connectivity. You will investigate and resolve incidents, manage releases and operational processes, monitor and automate alerts, maintain documentation, and improve service reliability through process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical application, API, and network-connectivity support to users and customers
- Identify, own, escalate, and resolve production incidents
- Manage release activities, audit reviews, and business-continuity exercises
- Monitor and automate application and infrastructure alerts
- Maintain knowledge repositories and standard operating procedure documentation
- Improve processes, automate manual tasks, and enhance service levels
Requirements
- 2+ years of production support experience, preferably in banking or financial services
- Experience with UNIX commands, SQL, and Bash or Python scripting
- Experience supporting FIX protocol and APIs
- Understanding of Linux and Java-based systems, cloud technology, and DevOps utilities
- Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Control-M, ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, or similar tools
- Incident handling and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting trading systems such as OMS or EMS
- Exposure to equities, derivatives, FX, or cryptocurrency trading
- English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work shifts and provide weekend support
