Application Support Engineer
Salary: INCLUDING SUPER
DevOps Engineer | Azure, Cloud & Applications
Melbourne | $110k-$140k package | Flexible working
Love solving problems? Get a kick out of figuring out why something's broken? Prefer getting your hands dirty over sitting in endless meetings?
This one might be right up your alley.
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a team supporting some seriously cool digital platforms.
You'll be working across Azure, modern web applications, APIs and monitoring tools, keeping things running smoothly, fixing the things that break and making sure they don't break again.
And no, we don't expect you to know every technology under the sun.
We're much more interested in someone who's curious, technically switched on and genuinely enjoys figuring things out.
So, what will you actually be doing?
- Working with Azure and supporting cloud-hosted applications.
- Getting stuck into Sitecore, .NET Core APIs and modern web technologies.
- Using New Relic to monitor performance and catch issues before anyone notices.
- Helping developers get their releases out the door without the drama.
- Troubleshooting production issues and finding out what's actually gone wrong.
- Improving processes, automating the boring stuff and making everyone's life easier.
- Working alongside engineers who genuinely enjoy what they do.
- There's an on-call component (around one week per month), so you'll need to be comfortable jumping in when something important needs attention.
What do you need?
You might already be working as a DevOps Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Cloud Engineer or even a Software Engineer who's found themselves gravitating towards the operational side of things.
Ideally, you've played around with a few of these:
- Azure
- CI/CD pipelines and Bitbucket
- New Relic or similar monitoring tools
- .NET Core and APIs
- Sitecore
- React, Next.js or TypeScript
- Azure App Insights, Postman or ServiceNow
- Don't have all of them? That's fine.
- We're not looking for a walking technology dictionary.
- We're looking for someone who can troubleshoot, think for themselves, ask good questions and isn't afraid to have a crack at something new.
What's in it for you?
For starters, you won't be stuck doing the same thing every day.
You'll get exposure to a broad technology stack, work closely with software engineering teams and have a genuine opportunity to improve the way things operate.
There's flexibility, room to develop your skills and a team that values people who bring ideas to the table.
The details:
- Melbourne-based opportunity
- $110k-$140k package, including super
- Flexible working arrangements
- Modern tech stack and plenty of variety
- Opportunity to grow your cloud, DevOps and engineering skills
Sound like your kind of thing?
You don't need a perfectly polished CV or experience with every tool we've mentioned.
If you enjoy solving technical problems, love learning new things and want to work somewhere you can actually make an impact, we'd love to chat.
