Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health, performance, and availability of business applications to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application incidents and production issues within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
- Develop, test, and deploy minor application enhancements, bug fixes, APIs, and integration services.
- Support software releases, application deployments, and change management activities across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Monitor system alerts, application logs, and performance metrics to proactively identify and address issues.
- Collaborate with business units, vendors, software development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve application performance.
- Maintain application configurations, technical documentation, knowledge bases, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), disaster recovery exercises, and business continuity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with software development standards, operational procedures, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and present regular application support, incident, and performance reports.
- Participate in after-hours support, planned maintenance activities, system upgrades, and project implementations as required.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft.NET Framework,. NET Core/.NET 8, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, SQL scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, Microservices, and application integration technologies.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and IIS Administration.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, source control management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of information security principles and secure coding standards.
- Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications and managing application deployments.
- Experience troubleshooting application, database, and integration issues.
- Experience using monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.
- Experience within the banking, financial services, or fintech sector will be an advantage.
