We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications. Working in a hybrid environment, you will support production systems, manage incidents, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and external teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production applications.
  • Monitor applications and manage incidents, problems, and service requests.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with development, infrastructure, and external teams.
  • Execute deployments, upgrades, patches, and change activities.
  • Support monitoring and observability initiatives using tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call support activities for critical systems when required.
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.
  • Experience with Red Hat JBoss EAP and Java troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of heap dump and thread dump analysis and performance optimization.
  • Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with API Gateway solutions such as Axway and/or Apigee.
  • Knowledge of RHEL Linux.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, including Dynatrace.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and Nexus Sonatype.
  • Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Additional Valued Experience

  • Exposure to Jaeger, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
  • Experience working within ITIL-based support processes.
