JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong Java development and L3 application support capabilities. This is a 6-month contract position based in Hyderabad, Gurugram, or Noida. The ideal candidate will provide production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with modern Java technologies and enterprise application servers.

The ideal candidate will provide production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with modern Java technologies and enterprise application servers.
REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Skills:
- 5–12 years of experience in Java development and/or L3 application support
- Strong hands-on skills in Core Java, J2EE, Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Strong Oracle skills: SQL, PL/SQL and query optimization
- Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss or similar
- Production troubleshooting using logs, thread/heap dumps and monitoring tools
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL processes
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Build tools and CI/CD (Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure), Docker and Kubernetes
- Messaging/integration (Kafka, MQ)
- Observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Grafana)
- Unix/Linux shell scripting
