Application Support Engineer (Jurong West)
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Application Support Analyst to provide day-to-day support for critical business applications. You will play a key role in ensuring system availability, resolving application issues, and delivering excellent support to business users while working closely with internal technical teams and external vendors.

- Salary Package: Up to $5500 (basic) x 12 months

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day application support to ensure business systems remain stable and available.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents and support tickets within agreed SLA timelines.
- Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Track application defects and work closely with development teams and vendors to ensure fixes are delivered.
- Manage service requests and change requests, ensuring proper documentation and communication throughout the process.
- Liaise with business users to understand issues, provide regular updates, and ensure a positive support experience.
- Coordinate across multiple teams and vendors to resolve application and integration-related issues.
- Monitor recurring incidents and recommend preventive measures to improve system reliability.
- Support system testing and validation where required for fixes and enhancements.
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in Application Support, Production Support, IT Operations, or a similar support role.
- Good understanding of incident management, service request, and change management processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Candidates with the following technical exposure will have an advantage:
- Basic to intermediate SQL for querying and troubleshooting data.
- Understanding of application architecture and system workflows.
- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, batch jobs, and interfacing concepts.
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management and defect tracking.
- Experience supporting or developing OutSystems applications is a plus.
