Application Support Engineer

Salary: $110 - $145 per hour

Our client, a high profile Government Department, is looking for 4x Application Support Engineers to join their team. You will provide Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance for critical government applications.

In this role you will perform the following tasks but not limited to:

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application and systems support.
• Monitor systems and improve reliability and performance.
• Investigate, resolve and document technical issues.
• Deploy software updates, patches and fixes.
• Support projects, testing and technical documentation.

To be successful, you must have the following skills experiences:

• Strong application troubleshooting and complex problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PowerShell automation, T-SQL and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL service management processes.
• Windows Server, Linux and Azure DevOps experience.
• Strong communication, prioritisation and risk management skills.
• NV1 security clearance.

You must be an Australian Citizen and hold an active NV1 security clearance to be eligible. This Canberra-based role requires full-time onsite attendance, five days per week. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply.
