Davidson Technology are working with a leading State Government Agency to secure an Application Support Specialist, ideally with Power Platform support experience on an initial 12-month contract.


About the Role

As the Application Support Specialist, you will join a small team on an initial 12-month contract, with an immediate start preferred. You will support multiple applications, with experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform applications highly desirable. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day application support, logging and resolving system issues, maintaining system data, user access and configurations, assisting with system updates and enhancements, conducting testing and validation, supporting user onboarding and training, working with stakeholders to implement straightforward application and content improvements, and collecting and reporting on system usage, performance metrics and support trends.


About You

To be successful in this role, will be an experienced Applications Support Specialist with strong skills in troubleshooting, issue resolution, system administration, data integrity, user access and configuration management. You are comfortable supporting multiple applications in a small team, assisting with system updates and enhancements, conducting testing and validation, providing user training and guidance, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver practical improvements. Experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform applications-particularly Power Apps, Power Automate and related solutions-would be highly desirable, along with a proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
