Application Support Specialist

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Applications Specialist to join their technology team on an initial daily-rate contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on applications professional to support and enhance a portfolio of critical business systems within a complex enterprise environment. Working across technology, business and vendor teams, you will play a key role in maintaining platform performance, supporting system upgrades, driving continuous improvement and delivering business-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, support and ongoing enhancement of enterprise applications.
• Coordinate application upgrades, testing, releases and change activities.
• Support reporting, integrations, workflows and data management initiatives.
• Manage user access, security controls and application governance requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.
• Engage with external vendors and support partners to ensure effective service delivery.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP platforms or SaaS-based business systems.
• Experience managing system releases, upgrades, incidents and change processes.
• Knowledge of integrations, reporting, security and access management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• Proven ability to analyse issues, improve processes and deliver practical technology outcomes.
