Application System Administrator

Objectway in Milan conducts full-time recruitment for an Applications Operations role to support SaaS OBS environments and interfaces to and from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite). You monitor daily processes and assist with releases, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.

You will work with the core banking development, project management and client support teams to meet SLAs and regulatory requirements, coordinating tests and contributing to automation and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for SaaS OBS environments and interfaces to/from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite) You monitor and control daily and end-of-day processing You provide software for customers and support releases You collaborate with core banking development, project management and client support teams You help ensure compliance with SLAs, internal/customer specs, and legal requirements You coordinate tests and may perform them yourself Completed studies or equivalent practical IT/banking training Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and Windows server administration Solid knowledge in SQL (ANSI) and Oracle DB administration Experience with data centres and infrastructure operations Shell-scripting and programming knowledge (Python, Perl, Java, C/C++) Experience in IT support, software packaging and delivery systems Understanding of automation, CI and build tools Familiar with Jira and Confluence Excellent problem solving and customer-oriented approach Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to collaborate across sites and functions Agile mindset with Jira/Confluence experience Project work experience MS Office proficiency Fluent English and good German desirable Willingness to occasional after-hours/weekend work Ticket restaurant Health care coverage Hybrid working model Employee discount programs Performance bonus
