This role sits within the Infrastructure, Communications & Technology team in Mascot, NSW.

Provide professional support for digital systems, ensuring optimal performance and resolving application issues through effective design, development and implementation of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing application support, guidance, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance checks for business users.

  • Manage solution deployments and application upgrades.

  • Analyse applications, identify creation or redesign needs, and troubleshoot improvements for performance.

  • Work with professionals and vendors to confirm business needs, gather feedback and identify troubleshooting requirements.

  • Support application integrations, including implementation, data monitoring and reconciliations.

  • Define system and application outputs based on user tasks.

  • Develop system changes that improve productivity and meet changing organisational needs.

  • Test new applications and deployments for functionality.

  • Support user training and engagement, including process design, deployment and training.

  • Support month-end processes and integrations.

  • Map IT processes and systems.

  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses for new IT projects.

  • Secure data and implement appropriate controls.

  • Install updates and perform data backups.


What You’ll Need

  • Experience in a similar Applications Analyst role.

  • Experience with key REMONDIS applications is preferred.

    • Workday: Talent Management, Recruiting, Employee Self-service, Payroll & Time Management

    • Salesforce: CRM software for sales and marketing.

    • Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations: finance, accounting and purchase order management.

    • Wastedge: Waste Operations Solution

  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyse issues and make logical decisions using available information.

  • Strong project and time management skills to meet deadlines, track progress and assign tasks.

  • Statistical skills to identify trends, maintain accuracy and improve productivity.

  • Ability to analyse, test, implement and maintain networks, systems and applications.

  • Apply industry best practice in application development.

  • Gather and interpret data and system reports.
