APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER

About the Role

We are looking for a C# / .NET Application Developer to join our software development team.

The successful candidate will be involved in developing and maintaining Windows-based applications, web-based applications, cloud solutions, REST APIs, and system integrations. You will work with the development team to design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and deploy reliable software solutions.

This role provides an opportunity to work across both traditional application development and modern cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications.
• Develop web-based applications and services using modern .NET technologies.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and web services.
• Design and develop applications deployed on cloud platforms.
• Work with cloud services, databases, storage, authentication, and other cloud components.
• Integrate applications with third-party APIs, SDKs, and external systems.
• Develop and maintain database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
• Perform code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Work closely with QA, hardware, firmware, and other technical teams when required.
• Prepare technical documentation and support software deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in C#/.NET development.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Framework / .NET.
• Experience developing Windows desktop and/or web applications.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, authentication, and web services.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern web development frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and be a team player

Cloud & Web Development

Candidates with experience in cloud application development will have an advantage.

Experience with any of the following is beneficial:

• Microsoft Azure / AWS / Google Cloud
• Cloud-hosted web applications and APIs
• Cloud databases and storage
• Cloud authentication and identity services
• CI/CD and automated deployment
• Docker / containerization
• ASP.NET Core / MVC / Web API
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React, Angular, or other modern web frameworks

Good to Have:

• Experience with .NET Framework 4.x and legacy applications.
• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy applications to modern .NET / cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating with third-party SDKs and APIs.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SSL/TLS, and API security.
• Experience with NuGet packages and software libraries.
• Experience with multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience developing Windows Services or background services.
• Experience with software deployment and production troubleshooting.
• Experience working with security, access control, or hardware-related systems is an advantage.
